Personal:

Cheryl enjoys spending time with her three children and her husband, Jim. She loves going to soccer games, events at Indiana University and Purdue University.
She is committed to her personal workout and health. Cheryl inspires her friends to participate in wellness activities. She meditates daily and finds peace in being still.

Professional:

Cheryl graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education in 1998. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She received her Indiana State Licensure in Mental Health Counseling in 2001. She is a National Board Certified Counselor. Cheryl owns her own business and has been affiliated with The Santé Group, Inc. since 2013.
Cheryl provides quality services that serves clients interested in wellness and healing in all areas of life including spirituality, physical, financial, educational, and mental health.  She provides couples with Gottman Method Couples Therapy to achieve better communication and mutual respect.
Cheryl worked in an inpatient setting for 17 years. During that time, she facilitated individual, group, and family counseling for all ages/populations. She provided treatment for anxiety, depression, substance abuse and severe mental illness. She coordinated treatment planning and implemented effective treatment modalities to high risk populations. Cheryl also worked intensively with the treatment team of acute care populations, intensive outpatient populations, and inpatient populations. She specialized in treatment of mental illness diagnosis of anxiety and depression as well as substance abuse and dependence. Utilize assessment tools for chemical dependency such as AUDIT, CAGE, CRAFFT and SASSI.
Cheryl volunteered at the AIDS Task Force and Daybreak Children's Shelter. She has extensive continuing education in LGBTQ+ populations, Trauma Informed Care, EMDR, treating affairs and trauma using the Gottman Method, Postpartum Depression, Suicide Assessment and Prevention, and much more.
